April is National Poetry Month!

National Poetry Month was first introduced in April 1966 by the Academy of American Poets. It aims to raise awareness and appreciation for American poetry.

According to poets.org, the Top 5 Love Poems in the U.S. are: “How Do I Love Thee? (Sonnet 43)” by Elizabeth Barrett Browning, “My mistress’ eyes are nothing like the sun (Sonnet 130)” by William Shakespeare, “When You Are Old” by W.B. Yeats, “Love” by Elizabeth Barrett Browning, and “The Definition of Love” by Andrew Marvell.
