On Monday, April 28, BSC will be hosting two talented musical showcases. The Jazz Band, under the direction of Ben Posey, will be performing at 4:00 PM on the plaza outside of Norton Center. The show will feature jazz standards, Latin music and a touch of ballroom dancing music. Later that night, at 7:00 PM in Bruno Great Hall, the One-A-Chord Gospel Choir, led by Valerie Harris, will perform uplifting songs and praise.
On Thursday, May 1, BSC's Southern Chorale will perform madrigals and Gabriel Faure's Requiem, under the leadership of Professor Jeff Kensmoe. This event will take place in the Hill Recital Hall at 1:30 PM. Talented Freshmen Hope Strawn and Nick de Castro will be the showcase soloists.
All three of these wonderful events count for EEIS credit! Be sure to come out and support BSC's talented artists!
