Mark your calendars for Thursday, April 24th at 11 AM to take your seats at the Norton Theatre! This is the perfect opportunity to hear from BSC's one-and-only Dr. Mark Lester, W. Michael Atchison Professor of History. He will give a lecture on his book called The Challenge of Biography: British Prime Minister H.H. Asquith (1852-1928) during a Provost's Forum. During his lecture, he will discuss the conclusions he has reached about Asquith in writing a full-scale biography of the British statesman, who served from 1908 to 1916. This is such an interesting topic, and it also counts as an EEIS credit!
